This free training will provide participants with the skills necessary to recognize and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis. Participants will become certified as Mental Health First Aiders. This training is free and will take place over 2 days. (4/14 and 4/15 from 9AM-12PM) Light Refreshments provided.
As nonprofit professionals, we work in high-pressure environments, often supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. We spend so much time caring for others, but how do we take care of ourselves?
In this 90 minute virtual training, our goal is to have professionals feel more confident and clinically competent to have these conversations with the young people they are caring for. Trainings will be held on both 4/22 and 4/24 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Training is provided by Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide.
Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults.
