NJ 4S COMPASS will be providing Summer Wellness Workshops in collaboration with Ocean County Family Support Organization. This program focuses on social and emotional learning by teaching students about random acts of kindness and emotional intelligence Students learn how to develop habits that will promote positive self-esteem and creative problem solving. The sessions integrate mental wellness principles through storytelling and interactive activities.

Bocce Ball presented by Jackson Commission for the Disabled/Handicapped will be held on Saturdays from 6/15-7/13 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Location is Johnson Park (Bocce Court). This parent workshop was developed by the child psychologists at Children’s Specialized Hospital to help parents of children ages 2-10 years learn how to manage their behavior.

The Senior Freeze Program reimburses eligible senior citizens and disabled persons for property tax or mobile home park site fee increases on their principal residence (main home). To qualify, you must meet all the eligibility requirements for each year from the base year through the application year. Deadline for applying for 2023 is October 31, 2024.

Comfort Zone Camp serves children who have experienced the death of a loved one. All programs are offered at no cost to families. CZC provides a safe, nurturing environment where kids can have traditional camp fun, while at the same time acquiring tools to help them cope with their loss. Upcoming programs include virtual grief groups and in-person camps.
