Adolescent Clinical Training in Suicide Prevention for Nurses

In this 90 minute virtual training, our goal is to have professionals feel more confident and clinically competent to have these conversations with the young people they are caring for. The Stanley-Brown Safety Planning Intervention (SPI) is an evidence-based, brief, and collaborative clinical intervention designed for individuals who have experienced an acute suicidal crisis. The clinician and patient work together to develop a specific plan to help the patient manage future suicidal crises and prevent suicidal behavior.
